Long history, strong experience

The history of the Nostokonepalvelu-group began in Turku in the years after the Second World War, when Reino Nieminen started as a transport operator with one lorry.

Lifting services started in the early 1970s and in the following decades, the lifting services business developed and expanded to its current level under Reino Nieminen's sons Kalervo and Toivo Nieminen, with transport remaining a significant part of the service offering, specialising in heavy and large specialised transport.

As owner-operators, both in managerial and expert positions, the third generation has continued the family's lifting and transport traditions.

The Nostokonepalvelu-group employs more than 160 people in our various locations and indirectly employs a number of partners.
